DC Announces Justice League Infinity, A New Limited Series Set in the World of Justice League Unlimited
Beginning this May, fans of both comic books and animation will experience all-new stories set in the world of the iconic DC Animated series Justice League Unlimited, as DC presents an all-new DC Digital First series, Justice League Infinity.
Zack Snyder Confirms Actor Wayne T. Carr was cast Green Lantern John Stewart in 4hr “Justice League”
During a conversation at Justice Con 2021, Snyder said Wayne T. Carr filmed a scene in his driveway as the iconic superhero.
“He’s an amazing actor, an amazingly kind gentleman,” Snyder told the Nerd Queens and Wonder Meg during the Saturday evening panel.
“I said, ‘Look, there’s a chance that this doesn’t make it in the movie,” Snyder added, saying, “I’m not 100% sure he thought it was real, legit.”

Never could we have imagined what the world experienced in 2020 and continues to experience today. While we are buoyed by the rollout of the vaccine and the growing number of individuals being inoculated, it appears that July will still be too early to safely hold an in-person event of the magnitude of Comic-Con. For this reason, we have made the challenging decision to postpone Comic-Con 2021 as an in-person gathering until our 2022 dates, and once again hold this year’s celebration as the free online Comic-Con@Home. Unfortunately, the challenges of this past year and the multiple postponements of our two largest events have left us with limited financial resources, so this year the online experience will be reduced to a three-day event, spanning July 23-25, 2021.

DC today announced DC Pride, an 80-page anthology comic featuring LGBTQIA+ characters from across the DC Universe, and Crush & Lobo, a new eight-issue miniseries written by Mariko Tamaki (This One Summer, Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass) with art by Amancay Nahuelpan (Nightwing, Wonder Woman). Crush & Lobo will launch on June 1 and DC Pride will publish on June 8. DC will also publish a series of nine Pride themed variant covers in June, showcasing DC’s top characters as realized by the comic book industry’s leading artists.

With the largest collection of DC Comics found anywhere, fans can now dive into over 25,000 comic books and graphic novels on DC Universe Infinite. Starting at launch, the platform will continuously add selections from DC’s iconic labels, Vertigo, DC Black Label and Milestone Media, the platform will also feature new comic releases six months after their in-store releases, as well as, Digital First titles available three months after launch, and brand new comic titles exclusive to DC Universe Infinite.
