One of those books should be particularly exciting for Green Lantern Kyle Rayner fans since it would feature Morrison writing the character he helped bring to prominence in his JLA run. Hell, it could be exciting for hopeful Wally West fans too. The book is called “The Just” and it stars “legacy heroes.” Read the description below where Morrison name drops the Torchbearer.

IGN talked with Williamson about the development of this new character. If you’re swinging by NYCC, be sure to stop by the Craftsman booth (#2046) on Saturday, October 13 at 11 AM to snag a signed copy from Williamson himself. Since its launch in May, the all-new ongoing series EARTH 2 has started to build and expand upon its universe with lots of new and exciting elements: new characters, origins, settings, costumes, powers, etc. And for two special upcoming issues, add guest artist to that list.
Illustrating EARTH 2 #7-8 will be fan-favorite artist Yildiray Cinar (THE FURY OF FIRESTORM: THE NUCLEAR MEN; TEEN TITANS), who will also be making his debut collaboration with series writer James Robinson.
“I’ve been reading this book as a fan since issue #1 and feel so honored to be able to be part (in some way) of the restructuring of the new Earth 2!” Cinar told THE SOURCE. “Besides that, this is going to be my first collaboration with James Robinson, so needless to say … there are good times ahead!”
For an exclusive first look at Cinar’s art on EARTH 2, check out the pencils for the cover he drew for issue #8, featuring Steppenwolf (last seen in EARTH 2 #1) and the last Amazon on Earth 2 below.

Writer/artist of Batman: The Dark Knight, artist/cover artist for Batman, Justice League International, Before Watchmen: Nite Owl, Dial H for Hero, Birds of Prey, Action Comics and Superman: Last Stand of New Krypton and of course the upcoming Justice League of America book, David Finch will be attending the Emerald City Comicon next year! Whew, that was a long sentence. Anyway, the Emerald City Comicon will be March 1st-3rd 2013 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle. Below is picture of myself and David Finch just because. Enjoy.
