I believe it’s fair to say that last months Green Lantern Corps issue was the most acclaimed among the other Lantern titles, thereby giving the promise of a better issue the following month. They established the role of the new guard while bringing in new characters and a hint to how they will function in this diverse cast. However as with anything serial in nature the question is, can Van Jensen and Bernard Chang continue the momentum from the last thirty days? Well let’s charge our rings and find out shall we?
While you were glancing over the pretty damn good sales for the new creative teams’ first issues, DC Comics released solicitations for the October issues that follow the Forever Evil event. Take a look at whats to come below.
We don’t usually report on Green Lantern sales, but I think now would be a good time to start. The lantern titles have gone through a massive overhaul with Johns and company departing and its only right that we look at how Robert Venditti and his squad do.
We haven’t seen Sinestro since Geoff Johns had him walk away from everything just after fusing with Parallax and wiping out most of the Guardians. Well, that Sinestro-llax appears on the second issue cover of DC Comics’ latest event series Forever Evil. Check out the cover below.
Coming off a widely loved first issue, Van Jensen and Bernard Chang return for Green Lantern Corps #22 and here’s a preview!
The mother of all conventions. Comic Con International or better known as San Diego Comic-Con. We’ll be there covering as much as possible, and you can check our live coverage via twitter. Check below for Green Lantern related panels that include the usual DC All Access panels to Mattel and whatever Warner Bros. has in store for DC Entertainment.
Earlier today we showed you Sami Basri’s art from the upcoming The Flash Annual #2, and now writer Brian Buccellato speaks on how this story came about and more with Den of Geek. Check out the highlights below.
At the end of this month, The Flash writer Brian Buccellato will be us the very first meeting between Green Lantern Hal Jordan and Barry Allen aka The Flash. That comes in The Flash Annual #2 with art by Sami Basri, who had a very short stint drawing Green Lantern Kyle Rayner in the pages of VooDoo. Somehow we missed this nice sneak peek at Basri’s art and for that, we apologize. Enjoy it now and hate me later.
