DC Studios has unveiled the first look at their upcoming HBO Max series, “Lanterns,” offering fans a glimpse into the highly anticipated addition to the DC Universe. The series stars Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart, two of the most iconic members of the Green Lantern Corps.

In the newly released images, both Chandler and Pierre are seen in character, setting the tone for the series’ grounded and intense narrative. “Lanterns” is described as a detective-style story, drawing inspiration from shows like “True Detective,” and focuses on the two intergalactic cops as they investigate a dark mystery on Earth.
