DC Entertainment announced today it has greatly expanded its graphic novel library on the iBookstore to include more than 100 titles, including bestsellers WATCHMEN, V FOR VENDETTA and THE SANDMAN. Fans can find the newly expanded selection in a new DC Entertainment graphic novel destination on the iBookstore.
“We’ve been steadily increasing our library and reach on the iBookstore and today’s launch marks a major milestone in reaching millions of readers around the globe,” stated DC Entertainment Senior Vice President of Digital, Hank Kanalz. “We’re excited to bring Superman, Batman and other iconic characters to a broad audience, in a seamless, branded destination. We will continue to add new content every week, working toward our broader goal of expanding the comic reader base.”

Superstar comics writer Grant Morrison has been gearing up for his epic universe spanning Multiversity story for about 5 years now. Now, at his very own convention, Morrison finally unveils some concrete details about the project. Thanks to Comics Alliance, we now have descriptions of all 8 issues. One of those books should be particularly exciting for Green Lantern Kyle Rayner fans since it would feature Morrison writing the character he helped bring to prominence in his JLA run. Hell, it could be exciting for hopeful Wally West fans too. The book is called “The Just” and it stars “legacy heroes.” Read the description below where Morrison name drops the Torchbearer.

DC Comics is debuting a new free comic in a partnership with Craftsman at New York Comic-Con. Written by Joshua Williamson (Voodoo, Uncharted, Masks and Mobsters), this giveaway comic will feature a new character called the Technician, who is more or less the Justice League’s Mr. Fix-It. IGN talked with Williamson about the development of this new character. If you’re swinging by NYCC, be sure to stop by the Craftsman booth (#2046) on Saturday, October 13 at 11 AM to snag a signed copy from Williamson himself.
