At New York Comic Con, DC announced the return of its ELSEWORLDS line of comics, revealing upcoming comic book titles Gotham by Gaslight: The Kryptonian Age, Batman the Barbarian, Green Lantern: Dark, with more to come. Scheduled to publish in 2024, DC’s new ELSEWORLDS lineup will also include sequels to best-selling series Dark Knights of Steel and DC vs. Vampires.
“Green Lantern #1” by Jeremy Adams introduces readers to an electrifying narrative set in the expansive universe of the Green Lantern Corps. Adams crafts a compelling storyline filled with action, intrigue, and the exploration of newfound responsibilities. The issue gives us true beginnings of a classic down and out hero’s journey as the protagonist confronts both old problems and inner demons, ensuring a thrilling ride for readers.
One of the most powerful lanterns who took up the torch, Kyle Rayner half-kneels atop the robot construct that he has created, mid-yell, poised for battle, his concentration at maximum as he wills the construct to existence, launching two rocket towards the target. A moment in battle immortalized. The unique paint application on the high tech robot construct shows the transitionary formation of the construct, the nuances from green to metallic green, giving it a highly dynamic quality fitting for the torch-bearer.

The creative duo behind fan-favorite Green Lantern: Legacy is working on the action-packed sequel we’ve all been waiting for! DC announced today that Green Lantern: Alliance, the newest middle-grade graphic novel from bestselling writer Minh Lê (Drawn Together) and artist Andie Tong (The Batman Strikes!), will be available to young readers on April 5, 2022. HBO Max’s upcoming “Green Lantern” series is eyeing actor Jeremy Irvine for the role of Alan Scott.
Irvine would join Finn Wittrock in the series, who has been cast in the lead role of Guy Gardner. HBO Max declined to comment. Variety was first to report the news.
