Zack Snyder to Direct “JUSTICE LEAGUE” Movie; More DC Comics Films in Development

In May of last year, Man of Steel director Zack Snyder said that he saw a potential Justice League film “down the road”. In June of last year, we heard that David Goyer was working on a script for the film. Today, Wall Street Journal makes it official people. We’re getting a Zack Snyder directed JL movie.

Not only will Snyder be directing that Justice League movie (now confirmed to filmed back to back with the Superman sequel), but WSJ says the following films are also in development over at DC Entertainment and Warner Bros Studios: “Shazam,” “Metal Men,” “100 Bullets,” and “Fables.” The article says that the script for JL is still in development and no release date is confirmed (though LatinoReview is marking down the May 7th 2017). I’ll leave you with that and these words from WB’s president of worldwide production Greg Silverman:

“It will be a further expansion of this universe,” said Mr. Silverman. “’Superman vs Batman’ will lead into ‘Justice League.’”
