The amazing CollectedEditions have gotten confirmation of DC’s annual September “event.” Last year it was the Zero issue month, and the year before that was of course the birth of the New52. Now, its all about the bad guys!

The newest DC Comics trade catalog lists the following:

In September 2013, evil took over, as every title in the DC Universe published special new #1s featuring the villains of the DC Universe, collected here in a massive hardcover edition.

A giant-size, hardcover omnibus collection of the special “villains issues” published line-wide in September 2013, spotlighting the greatest villains of the DCU.

Not to mention when speaking to incoming writer Robert Venditti, he informed us exclusively that September’s issue would be a “one-shot” issue. If Geoff Johns were still writing Green Lantern then, it would be easy to assume we’d get a Sinestro starring issue but with an entirely new slate of creators on the lantern books, I think a lot of new characters will be getting a lot of development.

I wonder what kind of villain will show up in Larfleeze…
