Green Lantern Jade Appears in Ame-Comi Girls #7

Ame-Comi Girls #7 featured Jade, the long “lost” daughter of Alan Scott. While she’s currently not available in the New52 continuity, she’s now starring alongside Batgirl, Wonder Woman and other female superheroes in the digital comic series. Based on the anime-inspired figures from DC Collectibles, this series is a unique take on the women of the DCU. Kia Motors & DC Comics Team Up for 5 Justice League Inspired Rides

Kia Motors America (KMA) and partner DC Entertainment will arrive in fabulous Las Vegas for next week’s 2012 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show with five heroic Justice League-inspired custom rides, supporting DC Entertainment’s “We Can Be Heroes” giving campaign to fight against the ongoing hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa. The five vehicles, which include the Batman-inspired Optima unveiled recently in New York City, are a direct result of the vision and artwork of legendary comic-book artist, DC Entertainment co-publisher and self-proclaimed car guy Jim Lee and Kia’s collaborations with West Coast Customs (WCC), RIDES magazine and Super Street magazine. In addition to the custom cars, visitors to Kia’s SEMA display will release their inner super hero as they take in the Justice League comic book artwork and life-size characters throughout the booth. Kia’s press conference will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 9:00 a.m. at the Kia booth located in North Hall (#10809).

Two Comic Movies I Would Like to See Made

Everyone is still buzzing about The Avengers movie and everything connected to the film is getting all kinds of hype, including things as obscure as the Iron Man flash casino game online. While I enjoyed The Avengers, I am ready to move on to the next big comic book movie. There are still a bunch of stories I would love to see on the big screen and below are the two live action movies I would love to see made.

‘LEGO BATMAN THE MOVIE: DC SUPER HEROES UNITED’ Trailer

One of the most popular iterations of the world famous LEGO, is LEGO Batman, a series that serves as a gateway to the larger DCU. Warner Bros. Superman Legal Victory Leads to JUSTICE LEAGUE Film in 2015

Warner Bros. can go ahead with plans for a live-action “Justice League” movie in 2015 following Tuesday’s victory in a Superman legal case.

The studio is expected to accelerate development of a planned “Justice League” movie that would join Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and other characters, according to a knowledgeable person not authorized to discuss the matter publicly. Warner hopes to shoot the film next year and release it in the summer of 2015.
