In part 3, just in time for this weekend’s “Prisoner of Sinestro” episode, of Newsarama’s interview with Green Lantern: The Animated Series producer Giancarlo Volpe, he discusses how fans react to changes from the comics, the decision to put Aya and Razer together, how he staffed the show, the introduction of Sinestro and what’s still coming this season. Warner has announced that DC superhero brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us will be released on April 16th in North America and April 19th in Europe. An image of the Collector’s Edition was also released, which you can see below. It contains a statue of Batman and Wonder Woman locked in battle, DLC skins, a steelbook and the prequel comic. It will retail for £74.99 in the UK (99.99 euros) and $99.99 in the United States.

This week we received DC Comics solicitations for April, and glaringly absent was Green Lantern: The Animated Series. Fans started to panic, assuming the series was canceled. That would not be surprising, as another young audience marketed DC series Superman Family Adventures was given its last solicit. Fortunately, we reached out to DC and they promptly reassured us that GLTAS would continue…on a new release schedule.
