Joshua Hale Fialkov is the incoming writer of Green Lantern Corps and Red Lanterns in June. Unfortunately, while we recapped everything Green Lantern at the recent Emerald City Comicon, we didn’t attend ourselves. So, instead we have to rely on third parties for information. This the third party happens to be Bleeding Cool‘s annoynmous readers who tell of Fialkov’s views on a certain cartoon and comparisons to that cartoon with his upcoming run and the current iteration of Marvel’s first family.

 

Josh Fialkov said that his upcoming run on “Green Lantern Corps” and “Red Lanterns” will go hand-in-hand, not unlike what’s happening with “Fantastic Four” and “FF.” His run on “Red Lanterns” will draw upon “Green Lantern the Animated Series,” just no Razer. He was also bummed the Animated Series was not picked up. Josh also said he knew about what Dan Slott had coming on Spider-Man months before it broke and that he was just the nicest guy to talk with for his “Alpha” mini.

 

Oh and he’s killing everyone off in I, Vampire.

 

Our first look at Fialkov, Venditti, Jordan and Giffen’s new era of Lantern comics will come Monday when June solicitations are released.
