Initial details have been released by Warner Home Video for a new two-disc Green Lantern: The Animated Series DVD collection. The new release, titled Green Lantern: The Animated Series – Season One, Part One: Rise of the Red Lanterns, is the first home video collection for the new animated series. The release, collecting the first thirteen episodes of the acclaimed CG series, is scheduled to hit shelves August 28th, 2012. The home video title will retail for $19.97 SRP

Both GL:TAS and Young Justice are currently airing back-to-back as part of the new hour-long DC Nation programming block, airing Saturdays at 10am (ET) on Cartoon Network, with encores on Sundays at 10am (ET).
