GV: Our writer producer Jim Krieg and I were planning out a four-season arc. We really want to get all the lantern colors in the show, and all the earth Green Lanterns in at some point. So far we’re still waiting for a pick up, so I feel like we’ve only told half the story we set out to explore. It’d be great to finish the tale properly.

We told you about this just last week, but now Warner Bros. comes through with the complete press release and cover art for the upcoming Green Lantern: The Animated Series — Rise of the Red Lanterns (Season 1 Part 1) DVD title from Warner Home Video. The release, collecting the first thirteen episodes of the acclaimed CG series, is scheduled to hit shelves August 28th, 2012.
