TV Guide gets the exclusive on the first day of Comic-Con. Cartoon Network’s CGI show, Green Lantern: The Animted Series usually stars Hal Jordan. That you already know, or should know since you’re reading this. The series already features comic favorites such as Carol Ferris, Saint Walker, Atrocitus and Kilowog. Well now, its time to welcome Guy Gardner to the show. That’s right, everyone’s favorite jerk is coming to town. Voicing the role is Diedrich Bader, (Batman: The Brave and the Bold), who gives the character a comedic touch. “Somehow he did this thing where he made lines funny that weren’t even supposed to be funny,” Series producer Giancarlo Volpe says.

The Green Lantern Corps Cast Episode 118
TheGreenLanternCorps.com proudly presents The Green Lantern Corps Cast, a podcast focusing on all things Green Lantern! The shorthanded group catch up on Green Lantern: The Animated Series. From episode 8 to the not-quite-the-season-finale, there’s a lot to cover. They dive into the mechanics of Kilowog having sex, the ethics of falling in love while still grieving over your wife and just what the Star Sapphires mission statement is. On a less sexy note, the gang discuss if the series is getting better and if the next 13 episodes can up the ante without the restriction of the frontier zone. They also debate on how to properly introduce Sinestro into the series. Of course they review the second issue of Earth 2 where Alan Scott takes center stage…or does he? All that and a whole lot more on this episode of Corps Cast!
