Green Lantern March 2012 Sales
How was your March lantern fans? Was it better than DC Comics’ sales? March 2012 saw the return of Marvel Comics in the top 10 comics sold sales chart. Diamond has released the Top 100 comics sold and “The House of Mouse” took the top two spots and #5 as well. Justice League #7 slipped to #3, while Green Lantern #7 came in at #7, two lower than last month.
Green Lantern: The Animated Series Thumbnails from “Into The Abyss”
We mention this guy often, because he does more promotion for Green Lantern: The Animated Series than Cartoon Network. I’m not referring to myself, although that is also true, but none other than GL:TAS producer Giancarlo Volpe. During the Emerald City Comicon weekend he released some thumbnails from the series that provided an interesting and often unseen look at the animation process. This time around he releases some thumbnails for the episode “Into the Abyss”. Check some out below and more at his tumblr.

Is Another Green Lantern Event Coming Soon?
Green Lantern readers over the last 6 years are certainly no strangers to big storylines and crossovers. DC Comics launched “The New52” in September of last year and crossovers were put on hold to let these 52 titles find their own lane. Since then, we’ve seen various titles mix and match(Frankenstein & O.M.A.C., JL: Dark & I,Vampire, Teen Titans & Legion Lost) but nothing on that felt like a “true” crossover event. That is until current Batman writer Scott Snyder embarked on his “Night of the Owls” crossover that sets off on the Bat books next month. Now it seems that Green Lantern will be next on the crossover docket for DC Comics in 2012.
