Green Lantern Alan Scott of Earh-2 is Gay; Writer James Robinson Interview Roundup

The comics section of the internet has been abuzz about a mysterious DC character rumored to be made gay for about two weeks now. Well, because that section was about to overload, writer James Robinson decided to just confirm those rumors instead of letting you explore it within the book, and did it with a tour stop of comics websites. Yes, Green Lantern Alan Scott is now gay. At least the Earth-2 version. Follow the links below to find out what Robinson had to say about the matter, and see a preview of Earth-2 as well. Warner Bros. Announces Injustice: Gods Among Us, a new DC Fighting Game

DC Entertainment & Warner Bros. have come together with NetherRealm Studios for an all new fighting game featuring the world’s greatest superheroes. Below is the debut trailer(courtesy of Gamespot) and the official press release from WB. There’s no sight of Green Lantern (any of them!) in the trailer, but surely if Harley Quinn and Solomon Grundy can make it in then a Green Lantern would be available. At least Guy Gardner can make it in over them, right?!

Interview: Giancarlo Volpe plans 4 Season Arc for Green Lantern: The Animated Series including all Earth GLs & more

GV: Our writer producer Jim Krieg and I were planning out a four-season arc. We really want to get all the lantern colors in the show, and all the earth Green Lanterns in at some point. So far we’re still waiting for a pick up, so I feel like we’ve only told half the story we set out to explore. It’d be great to finish the tale properly.
