In September, everything in the New 52 universe will go back to ground zero. In an event that has been rumored for a while now, all of The New 52 ongoing titles that are published in September will be numbered issue #0 in an event DC Entertainment is calling “Zero Month.”
Timed to the one-year anniversary of DC’s massive reboot of its entire fictional universe, Zero Month will feature stand-alone stories that tell something from the history of the team or character — from before the relaunch. Visit Newsarama for an interview with Co-Publishers Jim Lee & Dan DiDio.
It was all bad just a week ago! In three short days, Warner Bros. has ignited a fanbase that had only The Dark Knight Rises to be excited for. Now, there’s a Justice League script in the works, which is supposedly “dark and mature”, and now Variety reports that other DC Comics heroes are being prepped for the big screen. I’m getting my hopes up, are you? Check below for Variety’s entire article.
The biggest geek festival is just a few short weeks away, and Warner Bros. is going to be there in full force. Today they announced they’re bringing a bunch of their tv shows to the convention center in San Diego for Comic Con. A look at the full schedule, which includes confirmed talent appearances for some of the panels as well as times and locations can be found here. Comic-Con 2012 takes place July 11 – July 15. Below, you’ll find the details on the DC Nation panel.
Famed comic book writer Mark Millar has supposedly received word that the Justice League script is not an “Avengers knock-off.” Check out what Millar had to say over at CBM!
I’m still in shock. Though I shouldn’t be given the ridiculous success of Marvel’s wannabe League team(Yes, I’m hating). Still, Variety comes through with the report and from what they say, WB has had this on the hush hush for some time now. If you haven’t heard of Will Beall, then smarten up because he’s one of the hottest writers in hollywood right now. Here’s hoping his script gets to the screen unlike Guggenheim’s Flash. Below is Variety’s original story in full. Oh, and Wonder Woman is on the way too.
Peter J. Tomasi is signing at #bookexpo tomorrow at 9:30 ET! Find out more here: bit.ly/JZzQ7l
