The World’s Finest has received episode title confirmation for new installments of Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice: Invasion premiering September 29th, 2012 at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. DC Comics only just debuted the new character Simon Baz in the pages of Green Lantern #0 yesterday. With Hal Jordan and Sinestro currently out of commission, Baz was selected as the new Green Lantern of Sector 2814. It looks like the character will be sticking around for a while in both Green Lantern and the upcoming Justice League of America series, not to mention next year’s Trinity War event. Hollywood is mourning the loss of a gentle giant. Michael Clarke Duncan, who was nominated for an Oscar for his performance as a death row inmate in “The Green Mile” and seen in last years “Green Lantern,” died Monday at the age of 54. Head over to ABC News for the full story.
