DC Comics only just debuted the new character Simon Baz in the pages of Green Lantern #0 yesterday. With Hal Jordan and Sinestro currently out of commission, Baz was selected as the new Green Lantern of Sector 2814. It looks like the character will be sticking around for a while in both Green Lantern and the upcoming Justice League of America series, not to mention next year’s Trinity War event. Representatives for Cartoon Network have confirmed the September 29th, 2012 return of new episodes for Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice. Beginning September 29th, 2012, the network has confirmed both series will see an extended run of new episodes until at least November 2012.
