Its been nine years in the making. “Wrath of the First Lantern” comes to an end with Geoff Johns’ Green Lantern #20. Check out the preview for the issue below along with some words from Geoff via USA Today.

Courtesy of USA Today, we have our first look at DC Collectibles Comic-Con exclusive figures. The “Superheroes of Green Lantern” four pack is the exact opposite actually. This foursome features Green Lantern Sinestro(complete with giant construct sword), Red Lantern Dex-Starr, Sinestro Corpsman Arkillo and the hand of death, Black Hand. With a 3¾-inch scale these figures can be yours exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con July 18-21 for $49.95. Hit the jump below to see the figures.
Geoff Johns may be leaving Green Lantern but his run on the world’s greatest superhero team (minus a GL or three) continues on. Check out a preview of issue 20 below, courtesy of CBR. And as a bonus incentive to check it out, its a prologue to “Trinity War” so…yeah, go forth.

Writer Robert Venditti (and presumably Green Lantern: New Guardians writer Justin Jordan) are getting set to debut new a Green Lantern villain named Relic. Well courtesy of DC’s go-to designer (and current Nightwing artist) Brett Booth (who also designed the latest iteration of Carol Ferris’ Star Sapphire costume) we have a look at what the villain didn’t turn out as. And apparently, he’s gigantic!

Well this is unexpected. Writer James Robinson announced Friday that he’s leaving ongoing New 52 series Earth 2 — and DC Comics — with September’s issue #16. “So as of today I am leaving Earth 2 with Issue #16. It’s been a blast,” Robinson tweeted. In a follow-up, he wrote, “Yes, this also means I’m no longer working at DC Comics. Best wishes and regards to Dan, Geoff and everyone.”
James was a man full of ideas and I’ll miss that in DC Comics stable. Sure not every idea is a homerun, but Robinson has a career full of those and a few triples too. Enough baseball references, now to place odds on who will replace him on E2.

Remember way back in September when we told you about Grant Morrison’s oft-delayed epic Multiversity? No? Well we did. We also told you that one of many issues of that series will feature legacy heroes. So it should come as no surprise that during a night in his honor, Morrison decides to drop more nuggets about that legacy issue, right? Surprise! Read what Morrison had to say about his superhero epic for DC.

Yes, the Van Jensen interview blitz continues! Just in case you didn’t know, Van Jensen will be taking over Green Lantern Corps with issue #21 in June. Speaking with Uproxx, Jensen discussed new roles for Green Lanterns including the Guardians right(left, right and left again) hand man Salaak. Check out what he said below.

What? You want more of Van Jensen talking about Green Lantern Corps? Well, here you go. This time around Van talks about the changes in issues due to the Fialkov controversy, the possibilities of the Corps fighting vampires and John Stewart’s origin with ComicVine. Check out some highlights below.
