CBR has the exclusive news of the day. DC Comics intends to capitalize on the latest trend (late being the key word here), selfies. The red squiggly line under that tells me that some people may not know what that is and you should stay that way. But for those that want to know, just click here. So, click below to find the titles that will be getting the selfie variant cover treatment come August. DC Comics’ August 2014 solicitations are scheduled to be released on this coming Monday (May 19th), maybe we’ll see some of these then.

Following the advance-solicitation of forty-one Futures End titles for September on-sale, DC Entertainment unveils the full list of the creative teams for each of these issues as well as the first batch of motion covers. The Nerdist had the exclusive news today as DC Comics unveiled yet another weekly series debuting this year. Earth 2: World’s End is the name of the series and here’s what we know and a teaser from artist Ben Oliver below.

Speaking with Collider, Man of Steel writer David Goyer (who’s also hard at work on its sequel that will feature both Batman and Wonder Woman), briefly spoke about that and a tidbit for us lanterns to think on. “I’d love to do Green Lantern” said Goyer when discussing how alien of a world Superman’s home world of Krypton was in Man of Steel and when told “That’s how Green Lantern should have been” by the interviewer.
