Announced today at DC’s Wonder Comics panel at New York Comic Con, Amy Reeder (Batwoman, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Rocketgirl) will be writing, drawing, and coloring the brand new Amethyst monthly comic series launching February 2020.
Following the character’s triumphant reintroduction in the pages of Young Justice, the new Amethyst series follows teenager Amy Winston, a.k.a. Princess Amethyst, as she returns to her magical kingdom to find it in ruins, her subjects vanished, and none in the realm of Gemworld still loyal to her house. DC’s free comic book offerings will include early looks at UNDER THE MOON: A CATWOMAN TALE (DC Ink) and DEAR JUSTICE LEAGUE (DC Zoom).
UNDER THE MOON: A CATWOMAN TALE FCBD SPECIAL EDITION will serve as DC’s Gold Title at the annual event and will feature a free chapter from the upcoming YA original graphic novel by The New York Times bestselling author Lauren Myracle and artist Isaac Goodhart. The full graphic novel is slated to hit stores everywhere books are sold on May 7, 2019.
