Our pals over at Collected Editions discovered a gem of a quote from DC Comics’ Co-Publisher Dan Didio about how the “Forever Evil” tie-in stories will be collected. As you know, excluding Earth 2‘s issue, the spotlighted villains during September are Black Hand, Mongul, Sinestro and of course the newly created threat that is Relic. Two Comic Movies I Would Like to See Made

Everyone is still buzzing about The Avengers movie and everything connected to the film is getting all kinds of hype, including things as obscure as the Iron Man flash casino game online. While I enjoyed The Avengers, I am ready to move on to the next big comic book movie. New Teams, New Artists and New Lanterns in September

Yesterday DC Comics released their solicitations for the month of September and there are some very interesting things there. Especially for us lantern fans. From new Green Lanterns to new origins to new teams and even new costumes. It’s a month where DC Comics wants to look back with their Zero issues but still progress the stories they are currently telling. September also happens to be the month where Geoff Johns and the rest of the lantern creators start to ramp up to the THIRD ARMY event. Below, I’ll take a look at the most interesting things about this month’s solicitations and what it could mean for the future of Green Lantern.

What I Want From Green Lantern Zero Issues

So if recent rumors and reports are to be believed, DC Comics will soon publish Zero Issues during the month of September. Supposedly covering “stuff that happened before issue #1. Year Ones, flashbacks, origins.” We all know that the lantern titles were generally unchanged from the Flashpoint effect on continuity also known as The New52. So with that in mind, the four lantern books have an opportunity that most series don’t, a chance to run wild with a brand new story that adds depth to what is currently happening. Below, you’ll find loose ideas for what I’d love for Geoff Johns, Peter Tomasi, Tony Bedard and Peter Milligan to accomplish with each Zero issue.
