Mattel and Warner Bros. have teamed up with the Make-A-Wish foundation to offer a selection of DC Universe Classics paint master prototypes to the public. These prototypes will be up for auction from Wednesday, July 17th at 6pm PST until Saturday, July 27th at 5:59pm PST.  The money earned from these auctions will go to Make-A-Wish, which grants wishes to children diagnosed with live-threatening medical conditions. DC Entertainment’s WonderCon Anaheim Exclusives

 

 

DC Collectibles has a great line-up of con exclusives heading into WonderCon later this month and C2E2 in April. Continuing the 3.75” action figure line, a new two-pack featuring  Guy Gardner and Larfleeze will be available for $30.  The highly-articulated PVC figures will include character specific accessories including Glomulus. Also, a WonderCon exclusive variant cover to the highselling Justice League of America #1.

First Look: Green Lantern & DC Heroes Little Mates Series 1

Little Mates are a junior version of the DC Comics Super Heroes. The facial expressions and vibrant colors of each of the characters appeal to children and parents alike. The license consists of 13 characters.

DC Collectibles to Launch Action Figure Line Based on “Injustice” Videogame

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s “Injustice: Gods Among Us” game is coming next year, and to add to the hype surrounding that game, DC Collectibles will be releasing an all new line of highly detailed and articulated 3 3/4” action figures based on characters from the game.  The first round of two-pack sets will be released in April 2013 and will feature Green Arrow paired with Deathstroke, and Wonder Woman paired with Solomon Grundy. Each set costs $29.95. Only a matter of time before we get another Green Lantern figure to add to our collections. By our I mean, you. I spend enough money on the comics.

Green Lantern Baz Gets an Action Figure from DC Collectibles

DC Comics only just debuted the new character Simon Baz in the pages of Green Lantern #0 yesterday. With Hal Jordan and Sinestro currently out of commission, Baz was selected as the new Green Lantern of Sector 2814. It looks like the character will be sticking around for a while in both Green Lantern and the upcoming Justice League of America series, not to mention next year’s Trinity War event. Kotobukiya Explores the DC Universe!

Though DC Comics still has its DC Collectibles branch, we’re seeing a number of other collectibles companies increase their focus on characters like Batman and Superman. Kotobukiya is one such company to increase their DC output in recent months, particularly through their Bishoujo line of PVC statues.
