DC Announces the Expansion of DC DIGITAL FIRST and the Addition of DC ESSENTIAL READS
Today marks the expansion of DC’s DIGITAL FIRST publishing program, home of bestselling titles Injustice: Gods Among Us, DC Comics: Bombshells, the new Batman: The Adventures Continue, and many more fan-favorite comics. Under the robust new program, comic book readers will have more variety of content and immediate access to stories that have never been available on digital platforms.

Abrams attaching himself and his Bad Robot production team as the latest to attempt at bringing the magic based Justice League team to the screen. Instead of being at your local AMC (yikes), it’ll be for Warner Media’s new streaming service HBO Max.

Today DC launched DC Kids Camp, a fun new program to help parents engage kids at home. Parents can follow DC Kids social channels—Twitterand Instagram—to download kid-friendly, superhero-themed activities and previews of past and upcoming DC middle grade graphic novels to enjoy at home. The DC Kids social channels will also feature entertaining videos from all-star authors and artists for parents and kids to watch together.

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War will be accompanied by the all-new DC Showcase animated short, Adam Strange. The thrilling tale, which offers insight into the space adventurer’s fascinating backstory, features Charlie Weber (How To Get Away with Murder) as the voice of title character.

DC UNIVERSE’s popular fan bracket-style competition is back with “Meta Madhouse: Tournament of Terror,” where 64 of DC’s most popular villains compete for the title of “Meta Madhouse Champion 2020” and “The Ultimate DC Villain.” The tournament is free and open to all DC UNIVERSE members, and the winner of this year’s competition will score a trip to the premiere of Wonder Woman 1984.
