At the end of this month, The Flash writer Brian Buccellato will be us the very first meeting between Green Lantern Hal Jordan and Barry Allen aka The Flash. That comes in The Flash Annual #2 with art by Sami Basri, who had a very short stint drawing Green Lantern Kyle Rayner in the pages of VooDoo. Somehow we missed this nice sneak peek at Basri’s art and for that, we apologize. Enjoy it now and hate me later.

Robert Venditti writes the second (New52) Green Lantern Annual and as you should know by now, it will heavily focus on the looming threat that is Relic. Sean Chen, formerly of Iron Man and Dark Reign: Fantastic Four, will be providing the art for the 48page story. Check out the full solicitation and cover after the break.

Point blank period. Bleeding Cool is reporting that the yellow lanterns will join the red and green (and the new launched Larfleeze) with a new series. Stay tuned for more updates. By tuned we mean connected to the internet. Gotta wonder how this would work considering Arkillo is THE GUY now right?
To celebrate my first issue of Green Lantern Corps coming out (that would be issue 21, on shelves now!), I’m giving away a signed copy of the Green Lantern Corps #21 Rags Morales “Relic” variant. All you have to do to enter is follow me on Twitter and either tweet at me that you want the issue or retweet the official contest tweet. I’ll choose a winner at random, personalize the issue however the winner would like and send it to them. Easy enough, right? Now get over to Twitter and win a free comic! – Van Jensen
