Holy long hair Hal! Come all and take a gander at the future of the Green Lantern related comics as August quickly approaches. Well, actually, its coming at the same rate it usually does but nevertheless, gawk at the covers and be spoiled with anticipation as more action looms.


In an interview with Comicosity, Justice League creative team of Geoff Johns and artist Jason Fabok discussed the upcoming “Darkseid War” story. When things turned to what Johns was researching these days, he spoke briefly about the character that spent a long time in Hal’s shadow during his GL tenure, and what his plans were for him.

Coming in July, if you haven’t heard already, is the unexpected but highly anticipated crossover publishing event of the year! Star Trek meets Green Lantern! IDW meets DC Comics! Check out the variant covers to issue 1 below as well as the solicitation.

Writer Mike Johnson is handling the six-issue “Spectrum War,” joined by artist Angel Hernández, recently of “Infinite Crisis: Fight for the Multiverse.” Check below for art!
