In an interview with Comicosity, Justice League creative team of Geoff Johns and artist Jason Fabok discussed the upcoming “Darkseid War” story. When things turned to what Johns was researching these days, he spoke briefly about the character that spent a long time in Hal’s shadow during his GL tenure, and what his plans were for him.

Holy unexpected crossover comic! Coming in July, the miniseries from “Star Trek” license-holder IDW Publishing and of course DC Comics, was announced Saturday during WonderCon. Writer Mike Johnson is handling the six-issue “Spectrum War,” joined by artist Angel Hernández, recently of “Infinite Crisis: Fight for the Multiverse.” Check below for art!

Big changes will come as part of DC’s new publishing initiative launching this June and that apparently includes new costumes for DC’s major heroes. June (and the summer!) is right around the corner but DC Comics must think its Halloween or something close to it because they are naming that month Joker Variant Month.
