Evil versions of the Dark Knight are coming to terrorize Earth this fall! Seven one-shot comics that tie into the upcoming DARK NIGHTS: METAL event are on the horizon, each spotlighting a different, corrupted version of Batman spawned from the Dark Multiverse. Today we have for you the first cover reveals for two of those tie ins.

Based on character designs by Justice League artist Jason Fabok, the 6.75-inch figures are apparently the largest range of motion ever for a DC Collectibles figure. Wave One features Superman, Deathstroke, Aquaman, Nightwing, Batman, Wonder Woman and The Flash. Oh and that Green Lantern Hal Jordan fella gets one too! Hit the jump below to check out Hal in his 6.75-inch glory and here for the rest of the lineup.

Now that you’re done yelling at the tv screen because Angela Valdez is still infuriating and the Starks are back, you can turn your attention to Green Lantern stuff! What stuff you ask? Well, how about a glimpse of the future. October solicitations are here! Complete with new artists, new writers and beautiful covers. Gotta love the future.

Welcome to a new weekly feature here at TheGreenLanternCorps.com! Just to kill some of that time you have on the internet, here’s a jigsaw puzzle of a Green Lantern cover or page for you to figure out. This week’s final result is the Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #24 cover by Ethan Van Sciver. Good luck lantern fans!

TheGreenLanternCorps.com proudly presents The Green Lantern Corps Cast, a podcast focusing on all things Green Lantern! The gang is back at it again from another lengthy hiatus. Per usual, they cover the latest news and discuss the latest issues of Green Lanterns and Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps. This is a pretty long episode so bare down and grab some snacks. Also, it was hastily edited so do your best to focus on the good things in life, like an extra 20 odd minutes of the GLCC!

It’s been a while since we did a list but that’s because we’re big believers in the more bang for your buck motto around here. More words means a happier reader, right? Whatever. I don’t believe you anyway. I’m stalling. Let’s get to this list of things Green Lanterns writer Sam Humphries spilled during his time running the DC Comics Snapchat at WonderCon this Saturday.

So we already know for sure that Green Lantern Corps will be/is being written by Justin Rhodes (Fantastic Voyage) and David Goyer (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Man of Steel). Now comes an offhand comment on a podcast by TheWrap.com writer Jeff Sneider saying that Goyer might pull a Simon Kinberg and want to take the reigns of the camera into his hands, in addition to his producer role as well. Hit the jump for quote and bring your grain of salt with you.
