When TV and comic book writer Geoff Johns became an executive for DC Entertainment, he may have had a lot on his plate. But one of his priorities was getting DC Comics characters officially united with the Emmy-winning Cartoon Network show Robot Chicken.
“As soon as I got this job, it was one of the first things that I wanted to see happen,” Johns said, citing the success of the Robot Chicken Star Wars specials. Read more here.
We told you about this just last week, but now Warner Bros. comes through with the complete press release and cover art for the upcoming Green Lantern: The Animated Series — Rise of the Red Lanterns (Season 1 Part 1) DVD title from Warner Home Video. The release, collecting the first thirteen episodes of the acclaimed CG series, is scheduled to hit shelves August 28th, 2012.
