Not a good month for lantern comics. Nope. May was not nice this section of the DC Universe. Probably because Batman and those fighting heroes over at the house Mickey built are running rampant all over the top ten. Though, when 3 of the top 11 books are starring a Green Lantern, how bad can things really be?

DC Marks The New 52’s Anniversary with ZERO MONTH

In September, everything in the New 52 universe will go back to ground zero. In an event that has been rumored for a while now, all of The New 52 ongoing titles that are published in September will be numbered issue #0 in an event DC Entertainment is calling “Zero Month.”

Timed to the one-year anniversary of DC’s massive reboot of its entire fictional universe, Zero Month will feature stand-alone stories that tell something from the history of the team or character — from before the relaunch. Movie News: Warner Bros. Eyes Other DC Comics Faves for Big Screen

It was all bad just a week ago! In three short days, Warner Bros. has ignited a fanbase that had only The Dark Knight Rises to be excited for. Now, there’s a Justice League script in the works, which is supposedly “dark and mature”, and now Variety reports that other DC Comics heroes are being prepped for the big screen. DC Nation Invades Comic-Con 2012!

The biggest geek festival is just a few short weeks away, and Warner Bros. is going to be there in full force. Today they announced they’re bringing a bunch of their tv shows to the convention center in San Diego for Comic Con. A look at the full schedule, which includes confirmed talent appearances for some of the panels as well as times and locations can be found here. Comic-Con 2012 takes place July 11 – July 15. Movie News: Warner Bros. Finally Gearing Up “JUSTICE LEAGUE” Movie!

I’m still in shock. Though I shouldn’t be given the ridiculous success of Marvel’s wannabe League team(Yes, I’m hating). Still, Variety comes through with the report and from what they say, WB has had this on the hush hush for some time now. If you haven’t heard of Will Beall, then smarten up because he’s one of the hottest writers in hollywood right now. Here’s hoping his script gets to the screen unlike Guggenheim’s Flash.
