The Blackest Night begins July 2009

The dead shall rise.

Well, at least that’s what Geoff Johns keeps telling me. And since I’ve seen some of his plans for next year’s epic, BLACKEST NIGHT, I have to say this will easily be one of the most anticipated events in comics for 2009. The story has been building and building since the Sinestro Corps War helped define everything we knew about Green Lantern, and Blackest Night promises to do the same for the entire DC Universe.

Green Lantern #36 Delayed until January 2nd

Sad to say, we will be waiting another 16 more days before finally getting the second part of the Rage of the Red Lanterns, even thought apparently we will get to Agent Orange in time come February. So, your guess is as good as mine for why they keep pushing this back because of Final Crisis. Then again, Legion of 3 Worlds doesn’t end until March leading into the brand new Adventure Comics #1 starting in April.

So, check out the auctions. If there isn’t anything there you can’t find, let me know. I have several books that aren’t up yet. Thank you.
