The Green Lantern Corps Cast #124 – Light on Black Violence

The Green Lantern Corps Cast Episode 124

TheGreenLanternCorps.com proudly presents The Green Lantern Corps Cast, a podcast focusing on all things Green Lantern! This week the gang goes back in time once again to discuss the zero issues for Green Lantern Corps and Green Lantern: New Guardians. One writer is clearly a fan of HBO’s The Wire, while the other forgets which Green Lantern book he’s writing. Carol Ferris gets a new costume and a new ring and Guy Gardner gets a new origin. “Red Shirt” Lanterns return and Sinestro is mistaken for John Stewart…who doesn’t show up at all. Find out who loved the artist change and what exactly is the “OMG Face”. There’s a big twist that doesn’t go over very well and a discussion on Hal Jordan quitting the only job he has. So tune in for all that and so much more on this episode of CorpsCast.

The Green Lantern Corps Cast Episode #123 – Guardian Knife Fight

The Green Lantern Corps Cast Episode 123

TheGreenLanternCorps.com proudly presents The Green Lantern Corps Cast, a podcast focusing on all things Green Lantern! Technically, we’re in the second year of the New52 and that means Annuals and Zero issues! This week the gang discuss those two books in detail. From the return of Ethan Van Sciver on art duties to the debut of the newest Green Lantern, Simon Baz, they’ll cover it all. There’s a big Guardians of the Universe showdown and bombs go off in the Zero issue. Things get tricky as the cast debate the future of Baz based on his debut alone. Did I say tricky? I meant hilariously awkward. Oh yeah, characters die! So tune in for all that and so much more on this episode of CorpsCast.

Welcome to the New Green Lantern Corps Webpage

After many aborted attempts and some good old fashioned blood, sweat, and tears, TheGreenLanternCorps.com is proud to announce our brand-new webpage! No longer are we shackled to the sluggish speeds and updating woes of static HTML! The old site design was stuck in 2003 — quite a feat for a site launched in 2007 — and we’ve dreamed of upgrading for years now. Now, thanks to our friend Matthew Fraser, that dream is finally a reality.

After 5 years as the #1 Green Lantern Message Board, it’s finally time for the main page to catch up: No more landing page, No more silly flash animation; just the website. We’ve been lax with our posting of the news, relying on the forum and twitter, but no more! From now on, thegreenlanterncorps.com will be the premiere destination for Green Lantern news, reviews, podcasts, and more! So, sit back, relax, and let us take you on a journey through Sector 2814.

P.S.: Please bear with us as we repopulate some of the content from the old site onto the new one. It’s quite a process.
