The Kubert School Announces Online Adult Studies Program

The famed Kubert School is proud to announce, for the first time in its history, that it will be offering an online studies program to the general public beginning Wednesday evening, April 15th.


The courses being offered are NARRATIVE ART taught by Tom Mandrake (The Spectre), INKING by Joe Prado (Superman), COMIC SCRIPT WRITING taught by Amy Chu (Red Sonja), and BASIC DRAWING taught by Fernando Ruiz (Archie).


Each class will meet once a week over the course of 6 weeks.

The Kubert School’s faculty consists of working professionals in the various fields of cartooning, illustration, design and animation.

Besides Mandrake (THE SPECTRE), Chu (GREEN HORNET), and Ruiz (ARCHIE), other artists that the Kubert School employs as instructors are Andy Kubert (Batman), Lee Weeks (BATMAN), Kim DeMulder (SWAMP THING), Jan Duursema (STAR WARS), and Giovanni Valletta (JOHN WICK).


The Kubert School was founded by award-winning cartoonist Joe Kubert (HAWKMAN, SGT. ROCK) in 1976. It is an accredited, 3-year vocational school, which is highly respected worldwide.
