Ratings Quick Beam: Green Lantern: The Animated Series (March 4-10, 2013)

Welcome back to another edition of Ratings Quick Beam, where I give you a small dose latest ratings info for your favorite lantern media. Just two more of these and…and…the end. Until another lantern shows up on tv on a regular basis.

GLTAS moves up from #13 to 10 this week. Last week’s ratings had a P2+ rating of 1724 and this week it shot up to 1807. So, in other words, the fluctuation continues. Checking out these ratings are a bit depressing. Not because the show is ending, that’s depressing on its own. No, the ratings are depressing because we all know that its not the program’s fault. Green Lantern: The Animated Series and its DC Nation partner, Young Justice, both have to deal with the colossal Spongebob Squarepants every week and they still manage to survive with good numbers.

This isn’t another time to lash out at the network must not be named, but instead the retailers who can’t seem to understand the difference between Ryan Reynolds’ unfortunate blockbuster bust of a movie and a highly praised cartoon series producer by the same guy who produced the most critically acclaimed and successful DC tv property, Batman: The Animated Series. Sigh.
