Injustice: Gods Among Us fighting game to gets it own comic

More DC Comics videogame news! Unfortunately, we still don’t know if any Green Lantern will appear in “INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG MORTALS” but now we know that the upcoming game will have a comic adaptation.
According to The Verge, the announcement was made over the weekend at EB Games Expo in Sydney, Australia, where NetherRealm Studios Co-Founder Ed Boon explained he’d like to see the Injustice version of the DC Universe expand into other media.

“We’re working on an Injustice comic book to carry the story and tell the events that came before the game,” he said. “With a game like Mortal Kombat, so many things spawned from there, like the movie. Obviously the extreme version is it would spawn a lot more things, but I know for sure we are making an Injustice comic.”

Debuting from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in April for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii U, Injustice: Gods Among Us features such DC characters as Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Harley Quinn, Cyborg and The Flash fighting on multiple levels in such locations as the Batcave and the Fortress of Solitude.

Last year DC published DC Universe Online: Legends, a comic-book miniseries designed to expand upon the story of the DC Universe Online MMORPG developed by Sony Online Entertainment.
