We’ve been hit with plenty of news about Green Lantern: The Animated Series since it was first announced, but since then most new information has come from one source. One man actually. Series Producer Giancarlo Volpe is the one man marketing machine for GL:TAS. Fortunately, he has a twitter where he constantly interacts with fans of the show. As usual for the end of the week, we have new episode details, two video clips, and a bunch of images have been provided by Cartoon Network from the all-new Green Lantern: The Animated Series episode “Flight Club.” The new Green Lantern: The Animated Series episode is scheduled to air at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Saturday, May 12th, 2012 as part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network. The biggest geek festival is just a few short weeks away, and Warner Bros. is going to be there in full force. Today they announced they’re bringing a bunch of their tv shows to the convention center in San Diego for Comic Con. GV: Our writer producer Jim Krieg and I were planning out a four-season arc. We really want to get all the lantern colors in the show, and all the earth Green Lanterns in at some point. So far we’re still waiting for a pick up, so I feel like we’ve only told half the story we set out to explore. It’d be great to finish the tale properly.
