Sony Online Entertainment LLC (SOE) today announced that DC Universe™ Online and PlanetSide®2 will be heading to the much-anticipated PlayStation®4 (PS4™) computer entertainment system. Future PS4 gamers can look forward to experiencing the epic battles of the massively multiplayer online (MMO) first person shooter (FPS) PlanetSide 2, along with the super-powered world of DC Universe Online (DCUO), as SOE continues to bring its ‘Free to Play. Your Way.’ philosophy to new audiences.
Another champion joins the fight in Infinite Crisis this week as Turbine profiles Cyborg. Formerly known as the fallen athlete Victor Stone, Cyborg is a ranged marksman skilled at dealing out heavy damage over a short time. In addition to Cyborg’s reveal, Turbine also released a new image that showcases three of the Green Lantern’s variations in Infinite Crisis from across the DC Multiverse: Arcane Green Lantern, Prime Green Lantern, and Atomic Green Lantern. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure today, a Scribblenauts game for Wii U, 3DS and Windows PC with a DC Comics twist.
Developed by 5th Cell, the game is structured around the story of Maxwell and his sister Lily, who travel into the DC universe with Maxwell’s magic notebook and summon DC-specific characters and objects to solve puzzles. The game has 33 different Batmans and 130 Green Lanterns from the various iterations of the DC universe. Every character has different abilities, and every character and object has a biography that players can access to find out more about their background and superpowers.
Infinite Crisis is a next-generation, free-to-play MOBA featuring fast-paced battles and iconic locations and characters from across the DC Multiverse. Find out about the game powers and abilities of Green Lantern in the profile video below.

The Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile app, announced during last week’s GDC, is available now on the App Store. The game is a fighter meets collectible card game and is a companion piece to the Injustice console version.
Setting up a WBID (which will also be used for the upcoming Infinite Crisis) will grant access to unlock and share items between the mobile and console versions. The iOS edition is a free-to-play download that works on recent Apple devices.
Batman, Wonder Woman, and Lex Luthor will face off in Gotham City, in a demo of Injustice: Gods Among Us coming out April 2 on PSN in North America, and April 3 on PSN in Europe and XBLA worldwide. The full game is due on April 16th.
The Lord of the Rings Online developer Turbine has announced Infinite Crisis, a free-to-play MOBA set in the DC Comics universe. The game is scheduled to be released for PC later this year, and a beta will be available. Infinite Crisis is set across the 52 universes of the DC multiverse, and promises map-altering events across various DC locations. So far Turbine has promised steampunk and post-apocalyptic themed stages. Map-specific interactive elements, such as throwing cars or calling down meteor showers, are also mentioned.
We’re late in covering this, but its never going to happen anyway so I guess we can never be too late can we? Anyway, Green Lantern is a cancelled platform / adventure game based on the comic with the same name, that was in development for the Super Nintendo by Ocean Software in 1995. Germany’s Amazon page appears to have revealed the first pack of downloadable content for the upcoming DC Comics game called “Injustice: Gods Among Us”. It shows the “Blackest Night” DLC pack.
