Green Lantern: The Animated Series reaches its first season finale this weekend – Saturday, May 26th, 2012 at 10:00am (ET/PT) as part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network – with the episode “Homecoming.” The writer of the season finale episode – Green Lantern: The Animated Series producer Jim Krieg – sat down with WF to discuss the season finale episode, the series in general, and perhaps a few secrets and surprises that viewers may not be aware of.

Cartoon Network comes through with new episode details, two video clips, and a bunch of images have been provided by Cartoon Network from the all-new Green Lantern: The Animated Series episode “Invasion” The new Green Lantern: The Animated Series episode is scheduled to air at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 as part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network.
We told you about this just last week, but now Warner Bros. comes through with the complete press release and cover art for the upcoming Green Lantern: The Animated Series — Rise of the Red Lanterns (Season 1 Part 1) DVD title from Warner Home Video. The release, collecting the first thirteen episodes of the acclaimed CG series, is scheduled to hit shelves August 28th, 2012.

Initial details have been released by Warner Home Video for a new two-disc Green Lantern: The Animated Series DVD collection. The new release, titled Green Lantern: The Animated Series – Season One, Part One: Rise of the Red Lanterns, is the first home video collection for the new animated series. The release, collecting the first thirteen episodes of the acclaimed CG series, is scheduled to hit shelves August 28th, 2012. The home video title will retail for $19.97 SRP
