What words do you notice that you overuse?

I'm guilty of using "pretty much", "basically" and "as opposed to" way more than I should.

What about you guys and gals?

I've noticed "basically" becoming more popular in British media. In Doctor Who, 11 said "I'm the Doctor, basically, run," which I thought came off too modern for him.
For my part, I use "so" and "like" more than is justifiable, especially when I'm trying to think of something to say.
My pet peeve words are "proactive" and "cogent," which have been used and abused to the point of meaninglessness by the media, corporate, and academic worlds.

I don't use this word in the way people do nowadays, but it gets my goat when people say "REALLY!" (not in the context of asking a question, but in the context of making a statement that something/someone is rediculous).

For me, I guess I overuse the word "actually" too much.

I'm guilty of using "really?" as an exclamation or calling bullshit too. Also, "Seriously?" for the same reason.

I find my self saying "Because I'm always right" to my wife a lot these days.

Just kidding, I can never say it enough.

can't think of anything i overuse too much but i hate the people who use the word "like" as a verb, noun, and adjective in a 5 word span in the same sentence

"Seriously?" and "Fuck" I use the fuck out of fuck.
Now you'd never call Erwin a "Wussy"
Nor label his working day "cushy"
But you might have to question

I really like the phrase "the edge of viability," but I probably use it too much; since, for instance, I just used it in regard to one-week old pasta salad.
