Based on how much I have enjoyed Rich as the ONLY Nova for a while, I am kind of bummed they are already bringing back the Nova Corps.

But, they've been wiped out a couple times before...

I thought the nova corps was made up of only Xandarians. Why are there picachu's and Shi'ar in the pic? Did Marvel change the idea into a marvel version of the GL corps?

Yes, they killed off the entire Nova Corps except for R.Rider in Annihilation (2006)...the entire Nova Force and the living computer of Xandar (Worldmind) was transported into R. Rider and is currently housed in his suit.

It's up to Richard now to rebuild the Nova Corps and find a suitable permanent place to house the Worldmind and Nova Force.

They retconned all the previous stuff in the most current Nova Annual so that it was more of an intergalactic police force similar to the GL's.
