Yeah, they said a while ago the cover would be a mix of relating to the innards or not. In this case, the variant was relevant—Anguirus wreaking havoc.
Yeah, I read G&G and King of Monsters. I've ordered the tpb of Legends (looks like it kicks @$$). I enjoyed G&G....KoM was good up until the last issue (which was weird).

I believe the new mini-series; The Half Century War, starts in August....giving the "G" a second title for a while.

Manhattan Projects #4

This series has been about the folks that were part of the building of the atomic bomb and giving them some type of twisted and sorted unknown (fictional) history. In this issue, we get that with Albert Einstein.

X-Men: Legacy #269

This is a AvX Tie-In, and opens ups with Magik, Iceman and Rogue in China continuing the Phoenix 5 quest to turn earth into a Utopia by providing a source of water to grow food. Once that's completed, Rogue returns to her neck of the woods to help out with a damage dam. And then Ms. Marvel shows up and Rogue gets her fight on. It's a pretty good battle battle between Rogue and Ms. Marvel, worthy of any fights that have taken place in AvX Vs issues.

I like the artwork in this issue and felt like I got my money's worth.

I read these last night. They are amazing. The best comic series I've read this year!

Totally, agree.

Scott Synder has created his legacy in the Batman mythos, and the whole Court of Owls saga is the best thing going in the New52.

Wolverine and the X-Men #12

I thought this was a great AvX tie-in as Rachel Summers is brought in to hunt down Hope Summers for Scott, and she does. The was this old Western movie feel when Rachel catches an incognito Logan in some market and they have a discussion before all hell break loose. There is a great action in the battle with the Assembled Avengers and a small band of X-Men. Kid Gladitor is a scene stealer.

I found the issue enjoyable as I got more insight on how the power of the Blue Lantern works. Additionally, the issue makes me want to pick up Blue Beetle #9 to see the fate of Glomuous.

This is pretty much a set up issue.

Amazing!

I feel bad about saying this, but Batman is better than Green Lantern right now.

X-Men #30

There have a been a discovery of mutant DNA that predates anything before. This discovery has led to experiences that Storm team uncovers. Of course Scott every detail of Storm's findings and moments on the second. Additionally, Storm has Pixie setting up points around the world to allow Pixie to teleport to them without being in site.

Pretty bland stuff.

Another fine example of a tin in being better then the actual event, Logan going deeper into at this point alienating himself from the group that gathered around him makes for a interesting read when others will of course start changing sides

4/5

A nice change of pace from the Court Of Owls event that dragged on way to long, it was lolz worthy at the change of venue of where Talia was conceived

4/5

They weren't kidding about a mexican stand off of all time, I am hoping that unlike DMZ's finale the final issue will not be a huge letdown as this was a awesome built up to it

5/5

Had this been the follow up to Marz's run that could have saved the title but when editorial gets in the way nothing good ever comes out of it. A great issue that finally put Pris over and out of the shadow of Voodoo which has been needed since the reveal of Pris

4/5

Nice introduction to a new character to the book and a even greater display of Wakanda

4/5

A huge step up from issue #1, the revelation about Mysterio was cool even though it doesn't explain on comment from the first issue. Pichelli is killing it on art

5/5

This book just keeps getting better, another great tie in but another great issue in general

4/5

Really like the idea of this book and a great built up for the next/final issue of this two parter

4/5

Stumbles a bit here but comes back towards the end, out of the issues out so far this while a semi low point for the series is still a great read

Superman 10

I liked this one and read it pretty quick. Stories of being misidentified or framed always incense me so I kept getting mad for the guy wrongly outed as Superman and mentally planned what I would do in the situation (sue the blogger and news company, do a video editorial for their competitor etc.).

Decent. Nothing spectacular, but decent. Enjoyed how the human characters thought they were going to be effective against a destructive Anguirus, and just ended up pissing him off!

Ok issue. Interested in the conclusion though I can't say this mini series has really done anything for me.

Nice epilogue to the whole 'Ends of the Earth' storyline. Lots of focus on Spidey's guilt, and his parting words to Doc Ock were a sharp blow, but speaking as a Doc Ock fan as he's my fav Spidey villain, hopefully Ock will eventually recover and their rivalry becomes even more intense.
