I can get a a studio for around $300-$400... 1 bedrooms run from $350-600... 2 bedrooms run from $550-700... 3 bedrooms run from $750-900 give or take... with lofts at $550-800... all depending on location, of course... and then you can start renting houses from $600-1600, depending on size and location... seriously... some houses are cheapo in worse neighborhoods.

That wildly depends on your state and county.

Studio's usually start around $600, no less near me. But the majority run about $800-$900

One Bedrooms are typically around $1000-1200

Two Bedrooms $1200-$1500

Three bedrooms Start at $1500 and go up. Also depends on if you get a loft and other things.

Four Bedrooms forget it. You'd be lying if you paid any less than $1800. Usually they run about $2000.

The closer to Boston the more rediculous it gets. In the city they pay double of everything I listed. Two bedrooms start at $2000.

Fucking insanity I tell you. I hate Massachusetts. Trust me, I've been renting for more than six years and I've been EVERYWHERE North of Boston. It's god damned expensive.

That's why I'm buying a house. I can own a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom and put no money down and pay for my Mortgage, plus property tax, home owner's insurance, etc, etc. And still pay less than a 2-3 bedroom apartment without Utilities. How fucked is that?

Plus, you can't get an apartment without paying first months rent, last months rent, and a security deposit before you move in. Then there's pet fees and other things. That's like $5000 just to move in. FUCK that.

I've lived in MA all my life. Any advice to those who might consider living here or just FYI, don't bother. It sucks. But if you do, buy a house, far away from any big cities.

Cleveland suburb - south/west side. Used to live in a 2 bedroom apt with 2 full baths and an in-suite washer/dryer. Also had a "media room" (or den), living room, full kitchen, and dining room. With the 2 car garage it was under $850 a month.

here in longwood (near) orlando I'm paying 690 for a 1 bedroom and there are cheaper but if you don't want to be murdered then thats not the place to be.

my suburb is nice and 690 is the cheapest we found for a nice area. most are 700 to 800 a month.

You cant find shit in DC for less that $1000 per room, thats why most people under 35 have roomies.

Let me rephrase, a single bedroom in an existing apartment is $1K per person (no one lives alone in DC), lol

Here in teh suburbs of New Orleans a decent 2 bedroom apartment in a nice neighborhood costs upwards of about $900 - 1,000 a month.

A shitty apartment in the city itself costs upwatrds of about $700 -$800.

You don;t even want to know how much houses are going for.

I'll give you a hint, they are amost DOUBLE of what you will find in just about any other part of the country.

we now have bought a house in a far east sub of cleveland we pay around (taxes and insurance included) 900 thats for a 4 bedroom - one bath finished basement all hardwood floors but only a 40 foot lot

so yeah buying a house is generally cheaper

You can get a furnished studio in Ogden for $350... and it comes with one free meal a day at their attached diner, too.

Well New Orleans isn't the murder capital of the U.S. anymore, but we're trying damned hard to get our title back.
