I think Mister Ed has this one pretty well secured.

Heroism: West. No contest.
Awesomeness: Ed.
Theme: West.

Ed has a great team, but they're not exactly heroes, and that is what this draft is all about.

I will admit that my team is not traditionally heroic, but I think they can be seen as heroic in context. Contrast them with those they oppose, and (at least for the most part) they seem heroic in comparison.

But in this, The Black Ties are their opposition and they are no match for the well dressed heroes.

Well, Constantine seems a bit rumpled to be considered well-dressed, but I will grant your team's generally superior fashion sense.

Oh, I don't know... Inigo and The Bride look decent enough and Frank's costume is timeless.

I would disagree with that, regarding everyone except Afro Samurai and The Punisher. The Punisher, I agree, isn't a hero. He's a cold, heartless killer, whose prime function is to deliver vengeance as he sees fit. Afro Samurai I'm not familiar with.

Montoya is a hero, because his quest to avenge his father never seemed to get in the way of his moral compass. Sure, he joined up with a scheming kidnapper, but he was never involved in the plan to kill her. He was simply a lost soul character with a drive to enact his vengeance. In the end, he became a hero as he helped those around him after his vengeance was taken. Plus, it's Inigo, everyone loves Inigo.

The Bride is a lot like Montoya in that she had a single focus, but she never let it get in the way of moral calls that didn't involve her plan. And becoming a great mom, and allowing that to be the drive that steers your life is always heroic.

As for Josey Wales, he never really did anything all that anti-heroic. He actually looks out for his companions as they join. Vengeance is the drive of the character, but he shows heroic qualities along the way.

If we're talking about the novel version of Edmond Dantes, then he was definitely a hero. He ends up giving up his entire fortune to Villefort's daughter Valentine and Maximillien in the end. In fact, his whole involvement in their coming together was something he didn't have to do while he was searching for justice against the three conspirators who were responsible for his imprisonment.

Carmine joins The Mystery Men, who's goal is to save the city from Casanova Frankenstein. Doesn't get much more heroic than that.

Well, yeah, you can't get much more well-dressed than a wedding dress, and I'd wager that Dantes probably dressed better than all of them when he was "The Count", but on average, I'd say West's team dresses better.
