Books from the two divisions are scheduled to come out in the fall.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>DC Entertainment announced a few creators that will be involved in either brand.\u00a0They include\u00a0<a class=\"styles-link--1Tap3\" title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/madwomanintheforest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Laurie Halse Anderson<\/a>\u00a0(\u201cSpeak\u201d),\u00a0<a class=\"styles-link--1Tap3\" title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/melissa-delacruz.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Melissa de la Cruz<\/a>\u00a0(the Descendants series),\u00a0<a class=\"styles-link--1Tap3\" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/michaelnorthrop.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Michael Northrop<\/a>\u00a0(\u201cTombQuest\u201d) and\u00a0<a class=\"styles-link--1Tap3\" title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/ridleypearson.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ridley Pearson<\/a>\u00a0(the Kingdom Keepers series).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted to go back to what we used to have in comic books: story arcs for younger readers,\u201d said\u00a0Bobbie Chase, a vice president at DC and the executive editor for the new imprints.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>DC Ink will begin with two graphic novels: one featuring Harley Quinn, a supervillain from the Batman universe, written by\u00a0Mariko Tamaki\u00a0and drawn by\u00a0Steve Pugh, and one with Mera, the regal, longtime love interest of Aquaman, written by\u00a0Danielle Paige. (No artist has been announced for that project.) DC Zoom will make its debut with \u201cDC Super Hero Girls: Search for Atlantis,\u201d by\u00a0Shea Fontana\u00a0and Yancey Labat.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The softcover Zoom graphic novels will cost $9.99 and run 128 pages, while the Ink books will be priced at $16.99 for 192 pages.
