More DC movies. That’s what you wanted right? Right?<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. has pushed Andy Serkis\u2019 \u201cJungle Book: Origins<\/a>\u201d back a year to 2018 and moved \u201cWonder Woman<\/a>\u201d forward three weeks to June 2, 2017.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cJungle Book\u201d is moving from Oct. 6, 2017 to Oct. 19, 2018 \u2014 giving it more than two years of separation from Disney\u2019s \u201cJungle Book\u201d movie. Both films are based on the Rudyard Kipling book. Disney\u2019s version, directed by Jon Favreau, comes out April 15.<\/p>\n

Warner\u2019s \u201cJungle Book\u201d is using performance capture technology. Serkis said in a Facebook post Wednesday<\/a> that he was grateful for the additional time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve got to say that personally I\u2019m absolutely thrilled that Warner Brothers have changed the delivery date of our movie,\u201d he said. \u201cThe ambition for this project is huge. What we are attempting is an unprecedented level of psychological and emotional nuance in morphing the phenomenal performances of our cast into the facial expressions of our animals.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cWonder Woman\u201d stars Gal Gadot, who debuted in \u201cBatman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.\u201d It had been set to open on\u00a0 June 23, 2017.<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. also set dates for two untitled DC films: Oct. 5, 2018 and Nov. 1, 2019. An untitled WB event film is slated for Oct. 6, 2017.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
