The premier comic book and pop culture convention in the Northwest, taking place in beautiful downtown Seattle, Washington, its Emerald City Comicon<\/a>! DC Co-Publisher (and famed artist) Jim Lee teased <\/a>that another big DC Comics announcement was to be held at ECCC so lets check out what DC has in store for this potentially special weekend, shall we? <\/p>\n BURBANK, Calif.<\/strong> (April 5, 2016) \u2013 DC Entertainment (DCE), one of the largest publishers of comics worldwide, today announced its stellar lineup of Emerald City Comicon (ECCC) panels taking place April 7-10 at The Washington State Convention Center. DCE will have a robust schedule of panel programming, including an in-depth look at the new twist on classic HANNA BARBERA characters, spanning every day of ECCC.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Go behind the scenes of DCE at the DC ENTERTAINMENT\u2013ALL ACCESS <\/strong>panel that kicks off the con! Offering an in-depth look at some of the most exciting stories ever told across DC Comics, DCE Co-Publisher Dan DiDio is joined by Marguerite Bennett (DC COMICS: BOMBSHELLS), Klaus Janson (DARK KNIGHT III: THE MASTER RACE), Robert Venditti (GREEN LANTERN), and Steve Orlando (MIDNIGHTER, SUPERGIRL). New and veteran fans alike are welcome for a tutorial on the essential stories, videos and products that make up DCE in a 101 guide to the DC Universe!\u00a0Thursday 4:15 p.m.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Get the inside track on one of the comics\u2019 world\u2019s most innovative and inspiring imprints at the VERTIGO<\/strong> panel. Joining Vertigo Executive Editor Shelly Bond and Senior Editor Jamie Rich will be Shawn Aldridge (THE DARK & BLOODY), Kurt Busiek (ASTRO CITY), Mitch Gerads (THE SHERIFF OF BABYLON) and Gail Simone (CLEAN ROOM) to discuss all of the highly anticipated releases, as well as a few surprises.
