Jeff Robinov, president of Warner Bros. Pictures Group, spoke to Entertainment Weekly<\/a> about the upcoming Man of Steel<\/em> film. More importantly to lantern fans was what he had to say about the future of DC Comics adaptations in film. Read some choice quotes below.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n On Man of Steel’<\/em>s impact on DC Entertainment:<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s setting the tone for what the movies are going to be like going forward. In that, it\u2019s definitely a first step.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Will Man of Steel<\/em> include references to other DC heroes headed to the big screen, as Marvel did with its pre-Avengers<\/em> series of flicks?<\/p>\n \u201cI think you\u2019ll see that, going forward, anything can live in this world,\u201d \u201c[Nolan\u2019s] Batman was deliberately and smartly positioned as a stand-alone. The world they lived in was very isolated without any knowledge of any other superheroes. What Zack and Chris have done with this film is allow you to really introduce other characters into the same world.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n When will fans get an update on the future slate of DC films?
