We were looking for love in all the wrong places. Well, we were looking for creative changes in the wrong places. Current Action Comics<\/em> artist Rags Morales is coming to Green Lantern<\/em> for a guest stint for issue 24<\/a>, but its Green Lantern Corps <\/em>and Red Lanterns <\/em>that will be seeing a more permanent shakeup. Writer Joshua Hale Fialkov will be leaving both titles before any issue even ships.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n CBR <\/a>has confirmed independently that this is the case, with Fialkov walking away from the titles due to creative differences. This news comes just hours after Andy Diggle stepped down from\u00a0Action Comics<\/em>, before his run kicks off. Obviously with two lantern books under his wing, Fialkov had some pretty big plans<\/a> for our characters<\/a>. Here’s what the writer had to say on his blog<\/a>:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Just a quick note to confirm what everyone knows, I am no longer the writer of GLC and Red Lanterns for DC Comics. There were editorial decisions about the direction of the book that conflicted with the story I was hired to tell, and I felt that it was better to let DC tell their story the way they want. I\u2019m grateful for the opportunity and I\u2019ll miss working with the entire Green Lantern team.<\/em><\/p>\n This was not an easy decision to make emotionally or financially, but, I\u2019m sure it was the right decision for both me, and for the Green Lantern books. The outpouring of support, your kind words and well wishes mean so much to me and my family.<\/em><\/p>\n In the meantime, I\u2019ll be writing ALPHA: BIG TIME and THE ULTIMATES over at Marvel, and THE DEVILLERS at Dynamite.
