One-time “JSA” writer and “Dark Knight Rises” co-writer David Goyer visited the CBR Tiki Room at New York Comic Con 2012 to promote his upcoming show “Da Vinci’s Demons,” and teased a comic series that may excite DC Comics fans.<\/p>\n

“There are some plans,” said Goyer of returning to comics. “I have plans to do something with Geoff Johns that’s been on the drawing books for a while. Basically, [we’re] just looking for the time to plot it out. DC is holding the space for it, it’s an event that we’re going to do, it’s a 13-issue thing. Hopefully, we’ll start plotting it out this fall.”<\/p>\n

The untitled 13-issue event series would not only mark Goyer’s return to comics, but a return to his collaborative efforts with Geoff Johns. The two worked together on “JSA” as co-writers for nearly 50 issues before Johns took over as solo ongoing writer with “JSA” #51.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
